MBF President's Update Nov 2024

More than 20 years of supporting Small Business Owners with networking and professional development opportunities with Micro Business Forum.

I am pleased to share that as the new President of MBF, we have hit the road running. We've had such a tremendous few months between, Coffee Connects, MBF monthly sessions, Committee Meetings and Business Planning.

Busy Coffee Connects and Monthly Sessions

We have been quite busy at MBF in the last three months of 2024.

In August, the spotlight was on AI, with Veronica Lind from Vermilion Pinstripes inspiring us to harness AI for building the ultimate marketing funnel. Packed with practical tips and brilliant ideas, Veronica showed us how to work smarter, not harder, using AI to take our businesses to the next level.

In September, we focused on wellness and success with Thrive: How Wellness Drives Success. Alejandra Lopez, a Senior Lecturer from CSU and PhD Candidate in Lifestyle and Wellness, encouraged us to embrace the motto “Healthy Mind, Healthy Business,” highlighting the power of wellness in driving both personal and professional growth.

In October, NSW celebrated Small Business Month, and our session, Strategic Partnerships for Business Growth: Insights & Innovations, delivered fresh perspectives from Veronica Lind and Ellen Crepaz from Port Macquarie Eatz. Veronica shared research-based insights into the future of Port Macquarie Hastings, exploring demographics, business growth, and emerging job opportunities. Meanwhile, Ellen provided actionable strategies for launching products and amplifying reach, sharing how her marketing tools have connected with over 50,000 followers across her social media platforms.
