MBF President's Update July 2024

More than 20 years of supporting Small Business Owners with networking and professional development opportunities with Micro Business Forum.

It has been a few months of intensive travelling for me, so I do apologise for the absence of updates. It is good to be back on home ground now and catching up with everything.

Andrew Morello, Veronica Lind and Terence Sweeney delivering a very inspiring business workshop

Elevating businesses to new heights with Andrew Morello

We had our highly anticipated event with Andrew Morello on 17th July at Charles Sturt University and as expected, it was a resounding success. Attendees had been looking forward to hearing experiences and tips from the entrepreneurial guru himself, Andrew Morello, winner of the first Australian Apprentice to help boost their business. We are very lucky to have had Andrew with us. It was truly inspiring, with many saying after the workshop that they could not wait to implement what they had heard and learnt.

Andrew brought his trademark energy, enthusiasm and positivity to the workshop as he shared what business owners really want to know how to do i.e. building a business that works without you! He also dived into how business owners can increase conversions and get prospects to buy more and faster. Andrew introduced us to the 6 elements that drive growth and enable growth.

One way to get a business to run on its own is to really bring in the power of AI and Modern Marketing, and I shared my experiences with powering marketing with AI. It is one of my pet topics I am really enthusiastic about as I have experienced it for myself in implementing AI in what I do. There is still some hesitancy from business owners about delving into AI and this workshop was a great opportunity for everyone to ask all the questions they had and really dispel myths about AI and get them all fired up to give it a go.

If you were at the workshop, do write to me and share with us what are some actions you have started to implement, we are here to support your business journey!
